OxygenOS 5.0.1 comes for OnePlus 3 / 3T with Adaptive Mode and December Security Patch

Shortly after launching a new beta update for OnePlus 5, the Chinese company is offering another one for OnePlus 3 / 3T smartphones. The phone has already received important updates this year, but to demonstrate its commitment to the smooth operation of the phone, the company offers the latest update of 2017.

It should be noted that this update does not bring many features, but brings new additions according to the requirements of its users. The update also marks the arrival of the Google security patch for OnePlus 3 and 3T. Although we are only a few days away in January, phone users will at least not be so outdated anymore.

The update also includes an adaptive mode that allows users to calibrate screen colors according to their preferences. The complete OxygenOS 5.0.1 changelog can be found below:

Added support for aptX HD;
The Wi-Fi hotspot device administrator has been added.
Calibration of the “Adaptive Mode” screen added;
Updated Android security patch for December
General bugs and stability improvements have been fixed.

The update will be implemented for all beta users of OnePlus 3 and 3T. If you are already registered in a beta compilation, you will need to reach a greater distance. However, if you have not yet viewed a beta version and want to try the new update, you will need to manually download the full ROM
