The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is “the next big thing” that literally takes Samsung’s favorite slogan. It has a screen of a ridiculous size, high-end specifications and an equally disproportionate price. What is the size? You look at a 6.2-inch screen, which is by far one of the best big Android phones you can buy if you can handle it. The smaller 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 exists if you can not, or if you want something even bigger, the Galaxy Note 8 is now available.

REVIEW

Introduction and design

What was once an impossible fantasy, a sketch in a book, a representation of an ambitious concept, is now reality. These are just some of the thoughts that come to mind when you have the Galaxy S8 +, Samsung’s next big step.

However, as the progress of the industry has made S8 + Galaxy smartphones, with its elongated shape and exquisite screen borderless, the logical and not the result of an experiment was too empty way.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 + convinces from all sides. This is undoubtedly the smartest Android phone I’ve ever had, and it seems to me that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are dated by comparison. It’s futuristic, but it does not forego usability for style. The screen size of 6.2 inches seems huge, especially since most large phones hold screen sizes between 5.5 and 5.7 inches. The last flagship I remember was a 6-inch screen, the Motorola Nexus 6, and it was a nightmare to use it. But it’s a different story here. It’s a big screen that feels good, and Samsung should be blamed for designing a phone that feels so good.

 Display

As far as AMOLED technology is concerned, Samsung has been the industry leader for several years. The world-class displays have been the company’s trademark for generations, and the new Galaxy S8 pair lives up to its reputation. The industry is moving towards new ultra-wide screens, but the transition will inevitably take a while.Apps and games are one thing, Android can scale them, so it does not matter. On the other hand, multimedia content will take years to adapt to the new format or not at all. Anyway, get ready to see many black bands around your videos or photos, or to live with stretching or jewelry.

Connectivity

It comes as no surprise that Samsung has handled its latest flagship offerings with a whole host of connectivity and advanced options. The Galaxy S8 and S8 + are the first phones to launch with 1GB of LTE, thanks to the Snapdragon 835 and Exynos chipset 8895. It’s LTE-A (4EN) cat16’s 1024/150 Mbps. Yes, both chips are not only very powerful, they should also be able to support incredibly fast network speeds if your provider supports them.It should also be noted that the Exynos 8895 version supports the aggregation of five operators while its counterpart Qualcomm 4. In practice, you probably can not achieve this short-term increase, so did not worry, it’s too much

Battery

Aside from size, some things really differentiate the Galaxy S8 and S8 +. In fact, the battery is the only other big difference. The Galaxy S8 + contains a battery 3500mAh, a good 500mAh more than the normal S8. Since the Note7 shame, Samsung has provided ample evidence that it has performed a quality check to make sure the problem never recurs. The Galaxy S8 + has reached a total of 88 hours in our usual battery test routine. In general, this is in line with what we expected considering last year’s S7 edge resistance and hardware differences in the S8 +. The new screen has a larger area and more pixels than its predecessor and S8 + can last more than an hour in the navigation board S7 Wi-Fi and 45 minutes while playing video.

Camera and memory

For pictures, it is a photo 12-megapixel camera with OIS media device (optical image stabilization), which promises better and clearer images even in low light. To support photos and videos in low light conditions, there is a two-color LED flash. On the front, the Galaxy S8 Plus is equipped with an 8 megapixel autofocus for selfie enthusiasts.
The onboard memory of the Galaxy S8 Plus is 64 GB, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 256 GB.

 Performance and platform

You can expect impeccable performance as the smartphone is powered by an Exynos chipset OCTA core 8895, as it comes with a function to enable the liquid coolant game. To enable multitasking without delay, there is 4 GB of RAM.The Galaxy S8 Plus supports the factory’s Android 7.0 nougat operating system with the patented TouchWiz user interface, which offers users the latest Android features.
